BeforeThe Klár quartet is a chamber ensemble of the National Orchestra members, which was founded in 1988. During its existence the quartet built up an enormously colourful repertoire, which distinguishes it from toher string quartets. In addition to the compositions by baroque, classical and romantic authors, the audience called as well for salon music, operettas and film melodies, musicals, evergreens, swing, jazz, pop all the way to the Beatles songs.
